First of all, these feeder is auger-fed. There’s no tiny broadcast feeder made of plastic hanging out the bottom of a plastic drum. The auger forces corn, soybeans, protein pellets, and rice bran through a shute that is shielded from the weather.

The timer that is stored behind a weatherproof door is completely adjustable. You can set it to release feed up to 6 times per day between 1 and 30 seconds at a time.

Is The Feeder Easy To Fill?

The feeder is extremely easy to fill. With a locking non-slamming lid, the stand and fill feeder can be filled simply by dumping feed in the top which is covered by sliding lit. No slammed fingers either because there are no hinges. No ladders or step stools are necessary.

Is The Feeder Raccoon And Hog Proof?

Yes. Raccoon cannot break into the feeder at all. Everything is metal including the shute. They will only be able to eat the feed that is on the ground. They can’t climb up inside due to the genius design. Hogs won’t be knocking this over like they do with the cheap tripod feeder.
